New Chief Executive for Cholamandalam Cazenove AMC

Mr. Ved Prakash Chaturvedi has joined Cholamandalam Cazenove AMC Limited as Chief Executive.

Mr. M. Anandan, Director of the AMC, said that Cholamandalam Cazenove, is gearing up for rapid growth. The company plans to make substantial investments in all areas of operations viz., fund management, marketing and technology. "I am confident that Mr. Chaturvedi will successfully lead the company in its new growth path", he added. Mr. Chaturvedi was earlier the senior vice President-Investments, at SBI Mutual Fund.

Cholamandalam Cazenove AMC Ltd., is a joint venture between Cholamandalam Investment & Finance company, a part of the Rs.3100-crore Murugappa Group and Cazenove Fund Management Limited of London which manages 11 billion Pound Sterling of investors’ funds. The AMC manages a range of open-end and closed-end schemes.
